The Spurs got their first taste of the new look Pelicans Friday night, with Demarcus Cousins back in the lineup after missing the Pelicans’ last game for technical foul accumulation. Dewayne Dedmon started again, although Kawhi Leonard started the game on Boogie, who scored 37 against the Spurs earlier in the season, the second most given up by the Spurs to any one player this season.

The Suns beat the Charlotte Hornets 120-103 behind a 59% shooting performance, their best of the season. Six Suns players scored in double figures and they had 30 assists, their second time reaching that mark this season.

The Rockets bounced back from their loss Monday night to beat the Clippers 122-103 on national television in LA Wednesday night.

The win clinches the season series against Los Angeles, and Houston did it in convincing fashion. Despite trailing after the first quarter, the Rockets claimed the lead in the middle of the second and never looked back.

The Bulls defeated the Warriors 94-87 to run their winning streak on TNT’s Thursday night games up to 18. Even more unbelievably, they handed Golden State their first back-to-back loss in 146 regular season games. The first game of Kevin Durant’s absence will undoubtedly be the big story in Golden State’s locker room, but the Bulls earned an impressive victory over a far more talented team.

The Spurs shook off the Rodeo stench to win a thriller against the Pacers.

Playing in their first home game in a month, the Spurs looked lost in unfamiliar territory for much of the night. Without Tony Parker (sore quad), the offense was often stagnant and directionless, but aided by 18 points apiece from Pau Gasol and David Lee off the bench, Kawhi Leonard put on an MVP performance in the fourth quarter to lead the Spurs to a last-second victory over the Indiana Pacers.
