Dallas surprises Oklahoma City on national television, behind the heroics of Seth Curry and everyone’s favorite German.

I’m not gonna lie, I thought this game would be a blowout. You know. National TV, facing Russell Westbrook, etc. etc. Well.....I wasn’t wrong?

Despite a rough start to the first quarter, the Mavericks slowly built a lead that got to a comfortable 20+ points, allowing them to coast through much of the second half. Seth Curry had 22 points on 10/16 (62.5 percent!) shooting, and Dirk was Dirking all over the place with 18 points on 8/17 shooting (47.1 percent!) and 12 rebounds.

Down 16, Jazz tighten up D, win on OT thanks to Rudy Gobert’s very long arms and great instincts

I don’t know, man. The Utah Jazz (39-24) defeated the Sacramento Kings (25-37) by the final score of 110-109 (OT). This OT thriller was really not even supposed to go this way. Before the game started most of us, including myself, expected that the Kings would not put up a lot of resistance.

The Bulls have established an odd, but longstanding streak: they’ve won every regular-season home game played on a Thursday TNT special since 2013. And they’ve taken down all formidable opponents while establishing this super-specific dominance in a talented league.

Chicago squeaked out a 104-103 victory against the Celtics on Thursday thanks to two free throws from Jimmy Butler in the final minute. That gave Chicago 17 straight wins on TNT Thursday night games.
