    PSC: Plantsado na ang Online  National Coaching  Certification

    MANILA - Sisimulan na ng Philippine Sports Commission’s (PSC) ang National Sports Coaching Certification Course Online bukas,  Lunes, (July 27).
     
     
     
    Ang proyekto na nasa ilalim ng Philippine Sports Institute’s (PSI) Sports Education and Training Program, ang NSCCC ay unang umarangkada sa  Tagum City noong 2018, Legazpi City at Davao City ng nakaraang taon. Ang Visayas ang unang sasalang sa online coaches’ certification, kung saan puno na ang lahat ng  slots na may  1,090 registrants.
     
     
     
    "The present situation in the country should not deter us from continuing our programs and services to the sports community, specifically in enhancing the competencies of our coaches in the schools and the LGUs,” pahayag ni PSC oversight commissioner for Visayas Ramon Fernandez.
     
     
     
    Ang Sports coaches ng elementarya at high school student teams sa Visayas ang magiging initial batch ng online learners para sa course’s Level 1 modules sa Sports Philosophy, Sports Pedagogy, Sports Psychology, Sports Physiology, Talent Identification, at Sports Ethics.
     
     
     
    Ang mga lecturer ay sina PSC-PSI sports education dean Prof. Henry Daut, PSC-PSI sports psychology head Dr. Karen Katrina Trinidad, PSC-PSI sports physiology head Prof. Josephine Joy Reyes, PSC-PSI sports specialist Prof. Luis Serafin Cosep, and Fr. Fonz Suico, CSSR. Isang blend of synchronous at asynchronous learning methods ang ia-apply sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng Google Meet at Google Classroom tools.
     
     
     
    Ang mga pasado sa Level 1 pilot staging sa Legazpi at Davao ay inaasahang ipagpapatuloy sa Level 2 online, habang ang magkahiwalay na course curriculum para sa coaches of sports ng mga differently-abled ay planong ilunsad sa  November.
     
     
     
    “More coaches from other regions nationwide will have the opportunity to avail of Level 1 modules later this year,” ani PSI Sports Education Head Henry Daut.
     
     
     
    Sa Luzon ay may sarili din nilang sessions para sa Region 1 at CAR mula August 10 hanggang 13, habang ang Mindanao ay gayundin sa Region 10 mula August 17 - 20.
     
     
     
    Ang three-level course program, sa pakikipagtulungan ng MILO Philippines, ay naglalayong ihanda ang  coaches para maabot ang  demands ng kanilang responsibilidad at masiguro ang makinang na sporting experience para sa mga atleta sa bisa ng pagpapalakas ng kanilang talento at husay. 
     
    Ilan sa kanilang layunin ay ang pag istablisa ng  national standard para sa sports coaching sa bansa. (LP/PSC)
