    The much-awaited Congressman JB Bernos International Freestyle Motocross will be held on January 27-28 at the Namagpagan Motocross Track, Poblacion, La Paz, Abra.

    In its seventh year, the competition promotes motocross tourism in the country with 12 race categories plus the freestyle exhibition.

    Cebu City, Philippines, 03 December 2017 – Mary Joy Tabal is now the first woman to win the National MILO Marathon Queen crown five times in a row. The Cebuana Olympian and SEA Games gold medalist fittingly achieved this impressive feat in the National Finals at her hometown of Cebu, with thousands of Cebuanos cheering her on. Meanwhile, Davaoeño salesman Joerge Andrade is the new name in the game, winning his first MILO Marathon King title.With the theme “Magsama-sama, Tumakbo, Matuto”, the 41st National MILO Marathon National Finals in Cebu culminates 16 regional legs, all driven by values such as discipline, resilience, and determination, which runners can take with them in their journey in life. Along with the exciting race experience and good weather, around 12,000 runners from all over the Philippines also enjoyed the festive atmosphere the Queen City of the South is known for.

    Cebu City, 01 December 2017 – MILO Philippines and the city of Cebu are ready to welcome all finalists and participants at the National Finals of the 41st National MILO Marathon on December 3, Sunday. For the first time, the Queen City of the South hosts the much-awaited finale. With the MILO Marathon’s strong following in the Visayas region, Cebu was chosen as the finals location to make the running event more accessible to the runners from the south, as well as to reach more Filipinos and encourage them to achieve an active and healthy lifestyle. Runners and spectators alike can also look forward to the popular tourist spots and rich culture that Cebu has to offer.

    Sports in the Philippines has come a long way from it being limited to just the typical ones such as basketball, volleyball, and badminton. Now, Filipinos are getting into a wider range of sports and other physical activities such as Frisbee, hiking, Zumba, and yoga.     THERE should  be  no room for politics and patronage in Philippine sports.
