Filipino lightweight Michael “Hammer Fist” Farenas, who has only fought once since 2015, is reviving his boxing career with a comeback on April 7 against Mexican Guadalupe Rosales.

The match is part of Dekada Fight Night at the Gray Eagle Resort and Casino in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Farenas (42-5-4 34 KOs) said that this battle against Rosales (34-14 18 KOs) will “create a lasting memory” for him in boxing.

LAS VEGAS (February 21, 2018) — Filipino fan favorite and top featherweight contender Genesis “Kashimi” Servania has agreed to a multi-year promotional agreement with Top Rank, Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum announced today.

Servania (30-1, 13 KOs) opened the collective eyes of the boxing world in his American debut last September in Tucson, Arizona, when he challenged World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight champion, Oscar Valdez. In one of the best fights of 2017, Servania knocked down Valdez in the fourth round but ultimately lost a unanimous decision.

Ray Beltran conquered the WBO lightweight title by defeating Paulus Moses by unanimous decision.

"I have no words. I gave everything I had. I really had to push myself. He is a very experienced and tough fighter. He surprised me with a couple of good punches, but right away I thought about my family and everything I have been throughout my career. I gave it my all. I made my career the tough way, and now I'm a champion" said Beltran.
