Filipino lightweight Michael “Hammer Fist” Farenas, who has only fought once since 2015, is reviving his boxing career with a comeback on April 7 against Mexican Guadalupe Rosales.

The match is part of Dekada Fight Night at the Gray Eagle Resort and Casino in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Farenas (42-5-4 34 KOs) said that this battle against Rosales (34-14 18 KOs) will “create a lasting memory” for him in boxing.

Dasmarinas went to Japan for over a month to train with top coaches, who were former world boxing champions themselves. Dasmarinas is currently ranked by WBC 12th, while his French opponent is ranked 4th.
