    Health Caravan in Qc

Being able to have a regular checkup is one of the keys to having a good health. However, not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to visit a doctor regularly. This is what Quezon City 4th District Councilor Hero Bautista hoped to address when he launched the Health Caravan Para Sa Bayan program in 2018.

The caravan is held every September this year and it offers medical and dental checkups, free eyeglasses and medicines, free blood pressure checking, mass feeding and blood donation which would be given to LGU blood banks.

Over 7,000 people from 38 baranggays have been served by the medical outreach program. Unfortunately, this year’s caravan will be moved to a later date due to the pandemic, with Councilor Bautista hoping that it can be done by December this year.
