Jon Jones says he is now learning to embrace his antagonist image.

In preparation for the grudge rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones at UFC 214, the UFC put out a promotional video entitled “Tame Your Demons”. It basically highlighted the respective titles runs of both men, and it obviously included Jones’ run-ins with the law that led to the stripping of his title, as well his drug test mishaps.

All the best, most interesting, and absolutely coolest fights the UFC should book following the promotions latest card in Long Island, NY.

UFC on FOX 25 didn’t look like the best card on paper, either before or after the event was over. 8 decisions in 13 bouts doesn’t exactly scream thrill-a-minute. However for those that actually watched the card, it was a pretty fun time. Chris Weidman got back on the horse with his best performance since 2014, Darren Elkins continued his improbable late career surge, and Jimmie Rivera put on a scrap with Thomas Almeida.

Roger Gracie’s legendary jiu-jitsu career ended on a high note with a big submission win at Gracie Pro.

Roger Gracie is officially stepping away from jiu-jitsu, and the legend ended his mat career on a very high note. The 10-time IBJJF world champion showed up at a Gracie Pro event to meet the only other man to win the world championships as many times as him - Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida - and submitted him with a lapel choke at the 6:52 mark of the match.

The former Bellator lightweight title holder is getting another shot in the UFC, this time against longtime veteran Nik “the Carny” Lentz.

When Will Brooks came to the UFC from Bellator it was with the expectation that he would insert himself into the top of the division in a hurry. He got off on the right foot, with a solid decision win over seasoned lightweight veteran Ross Pearson. But, just one year after that bout and he’s closer to fighting for his spot on the roster than he is the 155 strap.

Chris Weidman is back. In the main event of UFC on Fox 25, the former UFC middleweight champion mostly dominated Kelvin Gastelum and took home a third-round submission victory. Gastelum was in the fight for approximately 10 seconds - when he dropped Weidman at the end of the first round - but other than that, it was all Long Island.
