I will go out on a limb here and guess that Mayweather defeats McGregor by unanimous decision. But a key question is, how many punches will McGregor land en route to a unanimous decision loss?

Former UFC fighter Cody Pfister was arrested this weekend for assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

Former UFC fighter Cody Pfister was arrested around 1:00am on Saturday, July 15th and booked into Potter County Detention Center in Amarillo, TX after being charged with assault and causing bodily injury to a family member. Per the Potter County Sheriff’s Department, Pfister was released after paying $5,000 in bail.

The most recent UFC rankings update re-added a couple of familiar faces.

Jon Jones and Kelvin Gastelum are back. Both men, who have been staples of the rankings for a long time, recently had suspensions lifted and became eligible for the rankings ahead of their respective bouts later this month. Between that and the rise of two big winners at UFC Glasgow, there was a lot of activity in the newest version of the rankings.

Tony McGregor, father of Conor McGregor, responded to the allegations of racism that have been directed at his son since his press conference antics building his bout with Floyd Mayweather.

The four-stop press tour that Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather went on to promote their August fight last week drew a lot of fans and generated a fair amount of controversy. Perhaps the most divisive thing that came up were some claims of racism that were thrown Conor’s way for comments early on in the tour.

All the best, most interesting, and unquestionably coolest fights to make for the UFC following the promotion’s latest event in Glasgow, Scotland.

UFC Scotland brought all kinds of violence. With six knockouts and a submission the event had a lot of definitive results. And definitive results mean that fighters have definitive steps forward (and backward) to be taken. Santiago Ponzinibbio made his claim to a spot in the welterweight top 10, Paul Felder showed he may be ready for another ‘big’ fight, and Leslie Smith made it clear that she doesn’t need to be fighting newcomers.

Pro fighters enjoyed as both Paul Felder and Cynthia Calvillo scored wins against Scots Stevie Ray and Joanne Calderwood, respectively.

Paul Felder and Cynthia Calvillo silenced the Glasgow crowd as they respectively defeated Scotland’s Stevie Ray and Joanne Calderwood. While Felder scored a big knee KO, Calvillo picked up a unanimous decision win. Pro fighters enjoyed both bouts on Twitter, although some did not agree with the decision.
