A former Hawks security employee says there’ve been months of differences in protocol between black and non-black entertainers

A former employee of the Atlanta Hawks is suing the basketball organization and another employee for treating entertainers and politicians visiting the Hawks differently based on race, according to a lawsuit filed this week.

Patterson should slide into the starting power forward spot vacated by the departures of Taj Gibson and Domantas Sabonis.

For the second year in a row, the Celtics snagged one of the top three free agents on the market after signing Gordon Hayward. Yet, many still feel like they’re one piece away from competing with the Cleveland Cavaliers for a trip to the NBA Finals.

Hayward announced his decision in a Players Tribune letter after his agent denied the news upon it being reported early.

After three meetings in three cities with three different teams, Gordon Hayward has made up his mind. The 27-year-old forward will sign with the Boston Celtics, he announced on The Players Tribune.

Hayward will sign a four-year, $128 million deal, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Shams Charania. The fourth year is a player option.
