Mark Cuban admitted to keeping Earl Sneed on the Dallas Mavericks’ team beat despite his past as a domestic abuser, he told ESPN.

“It was bad, but we made a mistake about the whole thing and didn’t pursue what happened with the police after the fact,” Cuban told ESPN’s Tim . “So we got it mostly from Earl’s perspective, and because we didn’t dig in with the details -- and obviously it was a horrible mistake in hindsight -- we kind of, I don’t want to say took his word for it, but we didn’t see all the gruesome details until just recently. I didn’t read the police report on that until just [Tuesday], and that was a huge mistake obviously.”

Sports Illustrated’s Jon Wertheim and Jessica Luther dropped a damning report on the workplace culture of the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, documenting almost two decades of sexual harassment by former CEO Terdema Ussery and domestic violence accusations against former Mavs.com writer Earl Sneed.

It was McCollum’s second airballed three of the night, the first coming after Andrew Wiggins invaded McCollum’s airspace.

The Dunk Contest will always reach higher peaks in your memory than watching it live on a Saturday night. A highlight reel of the dunks, one that skips all the misses and flies through all the underwhelming ones, is the best way to consume the Dunk Content. The ebb-and-flow and the tension of an NBA game doesn’t really exist for a live dunk contest, but we always think it might, so that’s why we’re glued to a television screen anyway.

The Dallas Mavericks fostered an environment of rampant sexual misconduct and predatory behavior for more than a decade, a Sports Illustrated story published Thursday alleges.

The article says that former Mavericks CEO Terdema Ussery frequently requested sex and made sexually explicit advances to employees over the 18 years that he worked there. In 2015, Ussery left to join Under Armour. Less than two months after beginning, Ussery resigned in an “organizational reshuffle.” Sports Illustrated reports that Ussery’s resignation was likely related to sexually inappropriate behavior towards a female employee while the two were alone in an elevator.
