The Oklahoma City Thunder bounced back against the San Antonio Spurs, 122-112. Following what could very well be the best regular game of the season — where the only thing missing was a Thunder win — OKC earned that win tonight by snuffing out the Spurs attack in the 2nd half.

The Spurs beat the Thunder 154-147 in double overtime on Thursday. That’s like a lot of points. In fact, it’s the most combined points scored since 2006. LaMarcus Aldridge played out of his gourd, scoring 56 points on 20-for-33 shooting (16-16 free throws) — he dropped 56 without a single three-point attempt, which seems impossible in this age. In fact, it was the highest individual point total for someone without a three-point attempt since Shaquille O’Neal scored 61 on twos and freebies in 2000.
