Philippines’ U15 Women's Softball Team Clinches Victory Over Uganda

    by Marlon Bernardino
In an exciting turn of events at the U15 Women's Softball World Cup in Tokyo, Japan, the Philippines’ U15 women's softball team emerged victorious against Uganda with a whopping 7-0 score on Sunday.

The win was a great comeback for Team PH after losing to the United States earlier. Though the outcome was unfavorable, the Philippine softball team displayed exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship and immediately bounced back.
Jean Henri Lhuillier, Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines-ASAPHIL President shared: “Our young athletes have shown remarkable determination and have proven that they have what it takes to bring this home. They only need to put in the work and plan accordingly so they can beat  the other formidable foes they will still be facing”.
The team's success was made possible, in part, by the generous sponsorship of Philippine Airlines.
