    A total of 3,982 registered members of the Quezon City Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) have received fuel vouchers from the city government to help cushion the effects of the successive increases in the prices of fuel products.

    President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the recommendation of the Department of Finance (DOF) to continue collecting the excise taxes on petroleum products.  This, after Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III warned that suspending the collection of fuel excise taxes would reduce the total government revenues by PHP105.9 billion in 2022.

    President Rodrigo Duterte has rejected calls to suspend the operations of e-sabong (online cockfighting). In his prerecorded Talk to the People aired Wednesday morning, Duterte said the government will suffer big revenue losses in the event that he heeds the proposal to temporarily halt e-sabong operations.

    Quezon City 4th District Councilor Hero Bautista deployed his team to provide relief efforts for victims of a fire that broke out last March 6. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office (PIO) said a fire broke out in a residential area at Caliraya Street, Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City on Sunday, march 6.
