Antonio “El Gigante” Mireles is about to take a giant step in his boxing career. The 6-foot-9, 265-pound heavyweight from Des Moines, Iowa, has signed a multi-year promotional contract with Top Rank and will make his professional debut in a four-rounder live on ESPN+ Friday, Oct. 15 on the Emanuel Navarrete-Joet Gonzalez undercard at Pechanga Arena San Diego.

Teofimo Lopez says he’s NOT going to fight a rematch with Vasily Lomachenko because he still believes that he wouldn’t have been given a second fight with the Ukrainian fighter if he’d have lost to him.

Fans have been calling for Teofimo to fight Lomachenko in a rematch, as there’s a lot of questions about the scoring of their fight last October.

Dirrell says IBF super middleweight champion Plant (21-0, 12 KOs) showed fatigue problems in his last fight against Caleb Truax, and he can ill afford to get tired against Canelo Alvarez.

Ryan Garcia says Canelo Alvarez will knockout IBF super middleweight champion Caleb Plant for him disrespecting him during their press conference on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Plant (21-0, 12 KOs) called the former four-division world champion Canelo (56-1-2, 38 KOs) a “drug cheat” and a “mother-f****,” and it led to a brawl.

David Benavidez says IBF super middleweight champion Caleb Plant is lucky that he’s fighting Canelo Alvarez because if it were him, he’d put him in the hospital.

The former two-time WBC super middleweight champion Benavidez (24-0, 21 KOs0 is facing Jose Uzcategui in an IBF 168-lb title eliminator on November 13th. If Benavidez wins, he’ll be the IBF mandatory to Plant.
