The Professional Fighters League (PFL) today announced the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, UT will host 2024 PFL Global Season action on Friday, June 21 with fights in the Lightweight and Light Heavyweight divisions.

 

The night’s main event will feature 2023 PFL Lightweight finalist Clay Collard facing Mads Burnell. June 21 will be a homecoming for Collard, who was born and still trains in Utah. One of the most exciting fighters in MMA is fresh off an impressive victory over former Bellator Lightweight Champion Patricky Pitbull. 
 

2023 PFL Light Heavyweight Champion Impa Kasanganay will take on Jakob Nedoh in the co-main event. Elite fighters from the two divisions will be taking to the PFL SmartCage looking to secure 2024 PFL Playoff berths and continue their journeys to PFL World Championship glory and the $1 million prize.
 

“We are excited for the toughest test in MMA, the PFL Global Season, to debut in Salt Lake City,” said PFL CEO Peter Murray. “The PFL’s sports season format lends itself to action for fans in attendance and those watching in 160 countries worldwide. 2024 PFL Playoff berths and the chance to continue their $1 million journey hang in the balance for these elite athletes.”
 

The second half of the 2024 PFL Global Season continues June 21, from Huntsman Center with Lightweight and Light Heavyweight division action. The card will feature respective division points leaders Michael Dufort, Brent Primus, Elvin Espinoza, Rob Wilkinson, Josh Silveira and Dovlet Yaghimuradov returning to Global Season action. 


2024 PFL Global Season event at the Huntsman Center will be available via pre-sale Tuesday, April 30 with a general on-sale Wednesday, May 1 only at Ticketmaster.
 

The PFL Global Season features a true sports-season format, where elite fighters from around the world compete in a Regular Season, Playoffs, and Championship, with each winner of the six weight divisions receiving a $1 million purse.
 

2024 PFL Global Season is available live across ESPN platforms in the U.S. and via DAZN in Canada, Europe and additional premium sports platforms internationally.
