Today the Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league in the world, hosted an open workout at Leija Boxing x Fitness in San Antonio. 2023 PFL Playoff Featherweight semifinalists Bubba Jenkins and Jesus Pinedo hit the gym before facing off at The Alamo ahead of their August 4th PFL Playoff Showdown. 

Jenkins will enter Boeing Center at Tech Port on August 4th as the top seeded Featherweight is seeking a return to the PFL World Championship. Pinedo is making his first trip to the PFL postseason after a stunning win over 2022 PFL World Champion Brendan Loughnane.

Todayโ€™s open workout also featured San Antonio native Anthony Ivy who will be featured on the August 4th card in a Welterweight showcase bout. 

The first PFL Playoff event of 2023 featuring semifinalists in the Featherweight and Light Heavyweight divisions will be hosted at Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, TX on Friday, August 4 and broadcast on ESPN networks and streaming platforms. The winners of each Playoff bout will advance to the PFL World Championship and earn a chance to win $1 million and PFL gold.
