The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league in the world, holds the final event of 2023 PFL Regular Season tonight with PFL ATL, featuring the Lightweight and Welterweight divisions live from Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lightweight bout: Olivier Aubin-Mercier (18-5)  vs. Anthony Romero (12-1)

Tonight’s main event features 2022 PFL Lightweight Champion “The Canadian Gangster” Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Anthony “The Genius” Romero

Undefeated in all seven of his PFL bouts, Aubin-Mercier is looking for a second-straight title run this season. “The Canadian Gangster” was victorious in his 2023 Season opener, giving highly-touted prospect Shane Burgos a rude welcome and picking up a decision victory. Tonight, OAM looks to clinch a playoff spot.

A graduate of the PFL Challenger Series, Romero impressed in his PFL SmartCage debut, defeating Anthony Caruso by decision. Tonight, “The Genius” makes his 2023 Regular Season debut with the intention of taking last season’s champion down and earning a spot in the PFL Playoffs for the first time in his career.

Welterweight bout: Sadibou Sy (14-6-2, 1 NC) vs. Shane Mitchell (13-5)

In the co-main event, 2022 PFL Welterweight Champion Sadibou “The Swedish Denzel” Sy of Sweden meets Shane “AAA” Mitchell of Australia.

After three consecutive PFL Playoffs appearances, Sy finally broke through and captured the PFL Welterweight title in his fourth season with the League. Now “The Swedish Denzel” is eyeing a second-straight championship, a feat that only a handful of names have been able to achieve in the PFL. Sy kicked the 2023 Regular Season off with a second-round TKO win over Jarrah Al Silawi to earn five points in the Welterweight standings, and will need a win to secure his place in the postseason.

Competing in his maiden PFL season, Mitchell made his SmartCage debut earlier this season. “AAA” finds himself in a must-win situation. More specifically, Mitchell will need a second-round finish just to keep himself in the PFL Playoff race.

Lightweight bout: Shane Burgos (15-4) vs. Yamato Nishikawa (21-4-6)

In Lightweight action, “Hurricane” Shane Burgos of the United States and Yamato Nishikawa of Japan battle for a PFL Playoff spot.

The most highly-touted off-season signing heading into the 2023 PFL Regular Season, Burgos needs a win to keep his PFL Playoffs hopes alive.

A promising prospect out of Japan, Nishikawa came to the PFL as a former Shooto champion riding a ten-fight winning streak. Like his opponent Burgos, Nishikawa needs himself a win tonight to stay in postseason contention.

Welterweight bout: Magomed Magomedkerimov (31-6) vs. David Zawada (18-8)

In Welterweight action, 2018 PFL Welterweight Champion Magomed “Maga” Magomedkerimov faces David “Sagat” Zawada.

A former champion and finalist, Magomedkerimov showed his dominance with a first-round TKO win over Ben Egli. The impressive win gave “Maga” six points in the Welterweight standings, and tonight he finds himself on the right track towards another postseason berth and possibly another PFL title. Magomedkerimov can clinch his spot in the PFL Playoffs with a win.

Zawada finds himself facing long odds to keep his playoff hopes alive, “Sagat'' will need a stoppage win at the 1:14 mark of the second round.

Welterweight bout: Magomed Umalatov (13-0) vs. Nayib Lopez (16-0)

Magomed “Prince” Umalatov meets Nayib “Cachorro” Lopez in a crucial Welterweight contest between undefeated fighters.

Umalatov, a perfect 13-0 professionally, aims for his second-straight PFL Playoffs berth. “Prince” started the 2023 Regular Season off on the right foot, scoring a first-round TKO win over 2022 finalist Dilano Taylor and picking up six points in the Welterweight standings. Tonight, a win guarantees Umalatov a spot in the postseason.

Lopez, undefeated in 16 professional outings, will look to keep his perfect record intact as he looks to secure his first PFL Playoffs appearance. “Cachorro” is coming off a decision win over Shane Mitchell to earn three points in the Welterweight standings.

Lightweight bout: Clay Collard (22-10-0) vs. Stevie Ray (25-12-0)

Opening tonight’s ESPN card will be a battle of fan-favorites, as “Cassius” Clay Collard of the United States meets Stevie “Braveheart” Ray of Scotland in a Lightweight contest.

One of the most exciting fighters in the PFL, Collard is a perennial contender in the division, and owns victories over the likes of Anthony Pettis, Jeremy Stephens, and most recently, Yamato Nishikawa. Tonight, with three points, Collard looks to secure another PFL Playoffs appearance.

Coming off a storybook season that saw him defeat Anthony Pettis twice and come within one win of a PFL Championship, Ray hopes to return to the postseason. “Braveheart” is facing a win-or-go-home scenario, and needs to come up with a big win to stay in postseason contention.
