Bare Knuckle FC 4 just wrapped up from Cancun, Mexico. The top of the billing saw Leonard Garcia overcome some early adversity to rally and score a second round TKO to capture the Bare Knuckle FC middleweight belt. Bec Rawlings dished out enough damage to Cecilia Flores in the early rounds to hang on and walk away with a unanimous decision to retain her Bare Knuckle FC title. Rawlings lost a tooth in the fight, but she won nonetheless.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Ryan Bader stopped Fedor Emelianenko just 35 seconds into the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix finale Saturday night, becoming the first Bellator fighter to hold two championship belts simultaneously.

Bader (27-5) floored the vaunted Russian heavyweight with a left hook from distance in the opening exchanges of their long-anticipated bout. He added a right hand on the ground and a hammer fist, forcing the early stoppage at the famous Forum south of downtown Los Angeles.

Like a hungry wolf, Ruel Catalan of Catalan Fighting System quickly pounced on a hapless victim in Dipolog Top Team’s George Mascardo to post an overwhelming victory and rule the Casino Filipino (CF) Battle Extreme Tournament of Superstars (BETS) VII last Sept. 14 at the CF Manila Bay in Ermita, Manila. 

Catalan, who successfully sprang from a disappointing defeat last February to score his seventh win in eight professional outings, delivered solid strikes from the get go as he easily submitted Mascardo in the 1:18 mark of the opening round. The setback was the third in Mascardo’s fighting career and dropped his win-loss record to 7-3.

Matt Mitrione and Roy Nelson have been fairly friendly ever since being castmates on The Ultimate Fighter 10 nine years ago. Even after they fought and Nelson knocked out Mitrione in 2012.

Those good feelings have come to an end, Mitrione told Ariel Helwani on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour.

Mitrione beat Nelson by majority decision in the main event of Bellator 194 on Friday night at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut to advance to the semifinals of the Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix tournament. Mitrione won the first two rounds on all the judges’ cards, while Nelson won the third. One judge, Dave Tirelli, scored the third 10-8 for Nelson, making the fight a draw on his card.
