Teofimo Lopez Sr. claimed last Saturday that his son Teo became undisputed champion BEFORE Canelo Alvarez. At the post-fight press conference, after Canelo defeated Caleb Plant to become the undisputed champion at super middleweight, Teofimo came up on stage with him and posed with his four belts alongside him.

The problem is, Teofimo ISN’T an undisputed champion. He has three true titles along with the WBC Franchise strap.

Many fans were disgusted with Teofimo Jr. posing on stage with Canelo, as he looked like an imposter in their eyes, a fake undisputed champion, posing as if he’s part of a prestigious club.

Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis was seemingly impressed enough in watching Canelo Alvarez obliterate Caleb Plant last Saturday to say that the Mexican star is a bigger version of himself at 168.

Teofimo Lopez let fans know what he thinks of Shakur Stevenson, Gervonta Davis, and Devin Haney by saying that all three of them would get beaten by Vasily Lomachenko right now.
IBF/WBA/WBO lightweight champion Teofimo said that even though the former three-division world champion Lomachenko (15-2, 11 KOs) is on his way out in terms of getting older, he believes they would beat Haney, Tank, and Shakur right now if given a chance to fight any or all of them.
Lomachenko isn’t being given a chance to fight those guys by their promoters, and he probably will never get the opportunity because he would wreck the revenue stream.
