BINANGONAN, Rizal—Former champion Angelo Que and reigning Order of Merit winner Tony Lascuña clash in an early duel of the fancied bets in the ICTSI Manila Masters unfolding today, Wednesday, April 5 at the Eastridge Golf Club in Binangonan, Rizal.

Que and Lascuña drew rookie pro Ira Alido in the featured 7:20 a.m. flight on No. 10, both hoping for a strong start needed in the P3 million championship which features the cream of the local crop and a slew of international players out to break the locals’ domination of the Philippine Golf Tour.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Jordan Spieth played his final official round of golf for 2016 on Dec. 4, the last day of the Hero World Challenge. He had competed in 50 rounds since that fateful Sunday at Augusta National, when he rinsed two shots into Rae's Creek on the 12th hole and ultimately lost the Masters.

Two of the finest championship courses in the land, Apo Golf and Rancho Palos Verdes, are being spruced up and are close to being perfect when the 70th Philippine Airlines Interclub gets off the ground with the Seniors Division seeing action on Feb. 22 in Davao City.

Apo, long regarded as probably the toughest layout in the south, is again expected to decide both the Seniors and Regular Men’s championships, with both divisions to play their final rounds at the tree-lined layout.
