The   PAL   Men’s   Regular   Interclub officially opened with the traditional ceremonial tee off at Negros Occidental Golf & Country Club (Marapara) followed by a unityjump by, from left, Genaro ‘Bong’ Velasquez, Interclub chairman; Bacolod City Mayor Evelio ‘Bing’ Leonardia; Jose Maria Limjap, President - Negros Occidental Golf & Country Club; and Andy Montelibano, President - Bacolod Golf & Country Club.

BACOLOD CITY – Cebu Country Club, Alta Vista, Rancho Palos Verdes and South Bay of Los Angeles topped their respective divisions at the close of the 32nd Philippine Airlines Senior Interclub golf team championships Sunday.

Roichi Horit and Nonoy Tirol each had 47 points and Kim Kwang Seok added 42 at Binitin as CCC captured the Founders division with 542 points.

LIPA City, Batangas—The Philippine Golf Tour winds up its 2017 season with the ICTSI Players Championship beginning Tuesday here, with focus on Clyde Mondilla and a slew of local players out to foil the virtual Order of Merit champion and improve on their respective OOM rankings at the Summit Point Golf Club.

Mondilla, winner of three tournaments this year, including the ICTSI Rivera Classic of the PGT Asia Tour two weeks ago, slugs it out with Zanieboy Gialon and Jhonnel Ababa in the 7:30 a.m. flight on No. 1, relieved of the pressure of gutting it out in the final PGT leg for a first OOM crown.

BACOLOD CITY – Damasus Wong played the second nine in regulation to lead Canlubang to a slim four-point lead over Luisita at the start of the 32nd Philippine Airlines Seniors Interclub golf team championships Thursday.

Three-over at the turn, the 55-year-old businessman made one birdie against a lone bogey and parred the rest of the closing holes to finish with the day’s best 51 points at the demanding Marapara course.

CEBU CITY—Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club surged to a commanding 21-point lead over defending champion Manila Southwoods Masters at the start of the 12th Philippine Airlines Ladies Interclub golf team championships yesterday at the Cebu Country Club.

Yuka Saso, the 16-year-old Fil-Japanese, fired 59 points built around eight birdies to lead the Lubao-based squad which also drew 55 points from Tomita Arejola and 53 from national player Harmie Constantino.
