The Clippers notched win number 48 and climbed back to within a half-game of fourth-seeded Utah.
The postseason begins in 10 days, and even with the fourth seed still in contention, the Clippers weren’t likely to show us a playoff-ready A-game. And they didn’t, at least, not defensively, but with the scoring rhythm they’re rolling with right now, it takes an opponent with more talent (and rest) than the lottery-bound Dallas Mavericks to capitalize.
Gary Harris came up with a clutch steal as the Nuggets won 134-131.
In a hard fought, high scoring affair, the Denver Nuggets needed an all-around effort to beat the New Orleans Pelicans 134-131.
We don’t know either.
The Los Angeles Lakers may have sealed their lottery odds fate in a stunning 102-95 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. The effort was led by Tyler Ennis, who scored a game-high and career-high with 19 points.
Like the rest of us, LeBron James is not happy with officiating in the National Championship.
LeBron James, like most of us, is tuned into the National Championship game between North Carolina and Gonzaga, and like the rest of us, he’s pretty frustrated with the active whistle from the referees.

San Antonio’s win over Memphis on Tuesday night pretty much locked Memphis into the seventh seed and a first-round showdown with the Spurs. I mean, that’s pretty good for the Spurs in that I don’t think that Memphis can do more than make it a five-game series.
The Spurs try for consecutive 60 win seasons for the first time in franchise history in a battle with Memphis.

After a meh first half, the Warriors found their mojo in the third quarter to secure the win against the Timberwolves, 121-107.
One day before Steve Kerr infamously sat Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green (as well as the injured Kevin Durant) against the San Antonio Spurs, the Warriors lost a hard-fought game against the Timberwolves in Minneapolis. The young team, led by rising star Karl-Anthony Towns, seems well-equipped to handle the Warriors’ elite shooting and defensive versatility now and in coming years.
The Warriors face the Timberwolves tonight at 7:30 p.m. PST at Oracle Arena.
Jace Frederick of the Pioneer Press wrote a feature yesterday about the Minnesota Timberwolves playing out their season in search of improvement with an eye toward next season was quite possibly the saddest thing I’ve read about a NBA team this season.
