Kyle Lowry’s triple-double and a young Lakers squad teamed up for a Friday night win.

It was noted a couple of times during tonight’s broadcast that the Raptors could very well be 4-0 now instead of 2-2. It’s an inspiring sentiment, even if reality doesn’t quite work that way. (For what it’s worth: I, Daniel Reynolds, would love to live in the 4-0 Raptors alternate dimension.)

The Warriors and Raptors traded baskets (and turnovers) all night but managed to lock down in the final minutes and play their best ball to claim a victory to get over 0.500

The Golden State Warriors returned home after a three-game swing in the Southwest to take on the Toronto Raptors. The Warriors and Raptors came into the game with the fifth and sixth highest paces respectively. From the get-go, both teams played at a frenetic pace trading shot for shot.

Having talented young lottery picks is fun!

We should have known Friday was going to be the Knicks’ night when everyone’s grandpa, Walt “Clyde” Frazier, returned to the MSG broadcast booth following an extended post-hurricane stay at his house in St. Croix. As fate would have it, Friday was also the MSG debut of the Knicks’ most recent lottery pick, Frank Ntilikina. At one point during the broadcast, Clyde hearkened back to his own first home opener as an NBA point guard—like Frank, he started off his first season missing time due to an ankle injury before making his debut for a woeful Knicks club.
