PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial on Tuesday met with Gilas Pilipinas men's basketball head coach Chot Reyes and Gilas Pilipinas team manager Butch Antonio to put in order vital matters regarding the national team.
Discussed during the meeting were the national team's schedule and the players' pool who will prepare for the 2023 World Cup in Manila.
Thirty players -- a good mix of cadet and PBA cagers -- will make up the pool which will compete in various tournaments that includes the Vietnam and Cambodia SEA Games, the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers and the Asian Games.
The matter will be presented to the PBA Board Governors during its next regular board meeting.(PBA)
