It was a battle of two banged up teams in Chicago, but the Bucks, featuring debuts by Isaiah Canaanand Bonzie Colson, secure a road victory and a season series sweep.

Not that it looked like it’d be easy right out of the gates. Milwaukee seemed unable to match Chicago’s energy and keep the likes of Zach LaVine contained on numerous possessions. The Bulls would put up 38 points in the first, but the Bucks charged right back with 38 of their own in the second quarter on the way to a 63-54 lead at the half.

After the break it was a bit of chaos ball with turnovers leading into turnovers, blocks generating haphazard fast-breaks, and plenty of scoring to get it up to 90-80. Milwaukee would smack Chicago with a barrage of threes a few minutes in the fourth to extend their lead to a comfortable margin allowing them to ease their way into a much-needed 117-106 road win.

Stat That Stood Out
It shouldn’t come as a surprise when the Bucks simply decide when to make other teams’ lives hell, yet here we are. After the opening frame an offensive outburst like last Saturday’s sprint with the Timberwolves seemed in the cards. Instead the Bucks put the clamps on and prevented Chicago from scoring 10 points in the second quarter until 1:55 before the half, all while scoring 29 points of their own. Those kinds of stretches should strike fear in hearts across the league.

The Bucks also gifted those fans in the United Center free Portillo’s hotdogs for the second time this year. You’re welcome for your only season highlights, Bulls fans.
