Every time the Cavaliers pulled their old rallying tricks, the Warriors turned to their new superstar. This isn’t last year.

There was a moment in the fourth quarter of Game 2 when Kevin Love posted up Kevin Durant on the low block. Love tried backing Durant down. It didn’t work. He looked to pass, but there was no one open or cutting through. He tried backing Durant down again, to no avail.

Thompson shot poorly, but he outscored his assignment on a better shooting percentage because of some incredible defense on Cleveland’s Big 3.

Klay Thompson shot just 3-of-16 from the field in the Warriors’ Game 1 NBA Finals win over the Cavaliers on Thursday. He didn’t make any of his five three-point attempts, scored only six points, and missed shots a three-time All-Star and former three-point champion would salivate over.

The latest medical news regarding Bosh isn’t good for his comeback hopes, but it doesn’t completely rule them out, either.

Chris Bosh has not retired. Instead, a joint medical review by the NBA and the players’ union has ruled that Bosh’s illness that caused him to miss the entirety of the 2016-17 season was a career-ending one, according to the Miami Sun Sentinel. For Bosh himself, he still hasn’t ruled out a return to the league.
