What was shaping up to be a defensive slugfest in the first half, turned into a rout in the second as the Golden State Warriors pummeled the Indiana Pacers, 112-89.

For all of the Warriors firepower on offense, no one scored over 20 tonight. DeMarcus Cousins led the way with 19 points while Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant chipped in with 18 and 15 a piece respectively.

Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens told reporters that he was "disappointed" with C's guard Marcus Smart after he was ejected following a retaliatory shove of Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid on Wednesday.

With the Celtics up 69-58 early in the third quarter, Embiid appeared to give Smart an elbow. The 25-year-old then sent Embiid flying with a push. Embiid got a technical, but the officials gave Smart a Flagrant 2 foul and an ejection.

Former NBA all-star Kenny Anderson, now head coach of the Fisk University basketball program in Nashville, Tennessee, suffered a stroke last week and is now recuperating and undergoing rehabilitation.

Anderson, 48, from Queens, New York, recognized during his teen years as an athletic prodigy, was hospitalized Saturday evening, Feb. 23, due to health concerns. He remained in intensive care until he was released the following Monday.
