After letting Game 2 slip away at home, Toronto took advantage of a battered Golden State team playing without Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney. The Toronto Raptors took advantage against the Warriors’ depleted lineup, surviving everything that Stephen Curry could throw at them in a 123-109 victory. The Raptors, who took a two-games-to-one lead in the best-of-seven series, are two wins from their first title. Game 4 is Friday night at Oracle Arena.

Kevin Durant still isn’t ready to return for the Golden State Warriors as he works back from a strained right calf he suffered during the Western Conference semifinals.

Durant didn’t practice with the Warriors on Tuesday leading into Game 3 of the NBA Finals, and he has yet to get on the court for a structured session with the two-time defending champions since getting injured on May 8. Durant was set to some work on the court later Tuesday at the practice facility.

The Golden State Warriors are certainly not the healthiest group and the team is still dealing with a host of injuries heading into Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

On Tuesday, head coach Steve Kerr confirmed that star forward Kevin Durant will miss Game 3 as he works his way back from a calf injury. In addition, Kerr revealed that Klay Thompson remains questionable with a mild hamstring strain and forward Andre Iguodala will play in Game 3.

Two weeks after Yahoo Sports reported that he will decline his $10.2 million option to remain a Maverick this upcoming season and instead explore free agency, Dwight Powell on Tuesday somewhat clarified his position.

"I did not have any conversation prior to that article coming out with whoever wrote it, so I don't know where their information came from," Powell told The News, after helping to dedicate a new Mavs Tech Center in East Dallas. "I did not have any conversation with anybody about that."
