Willie Cauley-Stein doesn’t want to stay in Sacramento, according to a report from the Sacramento Bee’s Jason Anderson. Willie’s agent spoke with Anderson and made it clear in no uncertain terms that Willie would like a fresh start and hopes the Kings will not extend a qualifying offer.
The Trail Blazers continued to assemble their Las Vegas Summer League roster by adding South Dakota State’s Mike Daum. The high-scoring forward announced the signing after going undrafted on Thursday and South Dakota’s KDLT followed Daum’s announcement with a report of their own.

The Trail Blazers added point guard Isaiah Whitehead to their Las Vegas Summer League roster on Sunday. According to The Athletic’s Michael Scotto, the former Nets draft pick is set to head to Portland.
The Sacramento Kings are hiring Joe Dumars to a front office position, according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick and confirmed by the Kings via press release. Dumars will serve as Special Advisor to General Manager Vlade Divac.
