Michael Malone Rips Nuggets' 'Embarrassing' Performance in Loss to Pelicans

The Houston Rockets came out victorious in what will likely be one of the more memorable games of the entire season, defeating the Washington Wizards by a final score of 159-158. You read that correctly, One Hundred and Fifty-Nine to One Hundred and Fifty-Eight. No overtime, no double overtime, just 48 minutes and (obviously) no defense.
The 2019-2020 Golden State Warriors now know what victory tastes like, after smacking around a severely depleted New Orleans Pelicans squad 134-123.
Both teams were the walking wounded, with the Pelicans especially hurt by the absence of Jrue Holiday and Zion Williamson.
After years of humiliating defeats by the upper echelon of the NBA, the Phoenix Suns were able to extract some revenge over a long time bully in the Golden State Warriors. The Suns beat the Warriors 121-110, leading by as much as 34 at one point in the game, and there were stretches where Phoenix was just running laps around the team.
Though they seemed a little off at times, the Bucks ultimately took care of their divisional foes, knocking off the Cleveland Cavaliers, 129-112.
It’d be a bit of the same story that defined the second half vs. Miami to start this one out. It seemed that the Bucks would be sleepwalking at times, with not a whole lot of energy. All in all, there’d be seven lead changes and five ties to begin, and Cleveland advanced into the second quarter with a 31-30 lead.
