Just as we all expected, Milwaukee didn’t waste any time getting this one started. Khris Middleton would receive his first start since returning from injury, and he’d make his presence felt early on with 10 points. Giannis would chip in with eight of his own, and seven other Bucks would find the score sheet. After one, the Bucks leapt out to a 33-15 advantage.

Former Spectrum SportsNet reporter Kelli Tennant filed to have her lawsuit against Sacramento Kings coach Luke Walton dismissed this week, according to a document filed in the L.A. County Superior Court.

The request came nearly four months after the NBA’s investigation into Tennant’s allegations of sexual assault against Walton found insufficient evidence to support Tennant’s claims. Tennant did not cooperate with the league’s investigation.

Credit to the Jazz in the third quarter of Sunday night’s contest against the Raptors. In just those 12 minutes, Utah scored 49 points, while shooting 72 percent from the field and 80 percent from three. They also had 15 assists against zero turnovers, and grabbed 10 boards, including three on the offensive end. It was total domination, the kind of impressive basketball one would expect from a team many picked as favourites in the Western Conference.

LOS ANGELES — Kyle Kuzma left the floor during the fourth quarter as the Lakers were putting the finishing touches on a dominant win over the Washington Wizards, and after the game, head coach Frank Vogel said X-Rays on Kuzma’s left ankle were negative, and that Kuzma has a mild left ankle sprain and will be day-to-day moving forward.
