Back to their winning ways. In a potential NBA Finals preview, the Milwaukee Bucks outlasted the Los Angeles Lakers at Fiserv Forum, 111-104.

This one started with one word — defense. Both teams were clearly influenced by the other on the defensive end. Tipped passes, contested shots, and more added for a sluggish opening minutes between both teams. The Bucks would finally get a positive boost when George Hill came in, as he immediately connected on a pair of threes. His 10 points in the opening quarter helped grant Milwaukee a 23-17 lead moving into the second.

The Denver Nuggets have a history of dominating the Orlando Magic in Denver. In fact, Orlando has only beaten the Nuggets on their home court once this entire decade. The Magic nearly reversed their fortunes after getting out to a big lead in the first half tonight. However, they let the Nuggets go on one of the more epic runs of the season in the third quarter and Denver marched all the way back from a nineteen point deficit. Jamal Murray led the way with thirty-three points and Paul Millsap was clutch on more than one occasion to guide the Nuggets to an improbable 112-104 win.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks share the best record in the NBA at 24-4 and are on pace to become the first pair of teams in league history to win 70 games in the same season.

They each have MVP candidates – 2018-19 MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo for the Bucks, and four-time winner LeBron James and Anthony Davis for the Lakers. Both teams combine top-tier defense with high-powered offense.

This one would begin exactly as you’d expect — with Milwaukee immediately racing out to a solid lead. Cleveland never held a lead in the opening 12 mintues. Paced by 15 points combined from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, the Bucks earned a 26-20 advantage moving into the second quarter.

The Indiana Pacers securing their fourth straight win took big time execution late, set up by none other than Malcolm Brogdon, who had five points late to help the Pacers close a late five-point deficit against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Pacers stepped up on both ends in the last three minutes, closing the game on a 10-2 run to improve themselves to 19-9 on the year.
