VERONA, N.Y. (Nov. 20, 2018) — Bryant “B.Y.” Jennings is itching for another heavyweight world title shot. The 34-year-old Philadelphia native has won five consecutive bouts, four by knockout, and is intent on making an emphatic statement.

Jennings will put his IBF International and NABO heavyweight belts on the line in a 12-round showdown against the unbeaten NABF champion Oscar “Kaboom” Rivas on Friday, Jan. 18 at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y. In the 10-round co-feature, undefeated featherweight sensation and 2016 U.S. Olympic silver medalist Shakur Stevenson will face an opponent to be determined.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Dec. 11, 2018) – Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez is seeking a fifth successful title defense. Jesse "Hollywood" Hart is out for revenge.

Ramirez (38-0, 25 KOs) will defend his WBO super middleweight world against Hart (25-1, 21 KOs) Friday at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, site of his February knockout of Habib Ahmed. Ramirez bested Hart via unanimous decision last September in one of the finest world championship fights of 2017.

The pay-per-view numbers are out for the WBC heavyweight champion Deontay vs. Tyson Fury for their December 1 fight on Showtime PPV, and the fight reportedly generated 325,000 buys, according to ESPN. While those numbers might not compare to the amount of PPV buys of superstars like Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Saul Canelo Alvarez, they’re still quite impressive, given that this was the 6’7″ Wilder’s first venture into PPV against a foreign fighter that had been out of boxing for close to three years.
