Ryan Garcia is promising to return to the ring better in 2022 when he comes back from his hand injury that caused the cancelation of his November 27th fight against Joseph ‘Jo-Jo’ Diaz Jr. on DAZN.

Garcia, 23, was supposed to be getting surgery on Monday, but it’s unclear if he did.

Tim Bradley said he saw genuine hate on display recently for the trilogy match between WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder for their recent fight on PPV.

Bradley liked what he saw from Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) with the improvements he made in his game by bulking up to better compete with the 277-lb Fury.

Chris Algieri believes Oleksandr Usyk presents the greatest problems for Tyson Fury than any of the other heavyweights in the division right now.

Algieri says Usyk’s mobility and ability to change rhythms will create problems for WBC heavyweight champion Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) and the other top fighters in the division.

Devin Haney will be fighting on December 3rd on DAZN, possibly against Joseph ‘Jojo’ Diaz Jr. or Viktor Postol.

Haney’s promoter Eddie Hearn will try and put the fight together with former IBF super featherweight champion Diaz Jr. (32-1, 15 KOs), who needs an opponent after his battle with Ryan Garcia fell through. Ryan suffered a hand injury during training camp.

Undefeated super middleweight contender Edgar Berlanga (18-0, 16 KOs) will be having left bicep surgery this Wednesday to repair an injury he sustained in his fight against Marcelo Esteban Coceres on October 9th.

At the Pechanga Arena, in San Diego, CA, Friday over ESPN+ Bob Arum (Top Rank Boxing), in the Main Event former WBO Junior Featherweight and current World Featherweight champion Emanuel ”Vaquero” Navarrete defeated No. 1 ranked WBO International champion Joet Gonzalez in a war over 12 rounds.

Navarrete (35-1, 29 KOs) retained his WBO featherweight world title with a bloody unanimous decision (118-110 and 116-112 2x) over Joet Gonzalez (24-2, 14 KOs) on Friday evening at Pechanga Arena San Diego. It was the second successful title defense for Navarrete, who moved up to the featherweight ranks last year after defending his junior featherweight crown five times.

Mexico’s young general hopes to make it 20 for 20 in his toughest test to date. David “El General” Cuellar (19-0, 12 KOs) will make the first defense of his WBC Youth Silver 115-pound title in a 10-round main event against former world champion Moises Fuentes this Saturday, Oct. 16 at Oasis Arena in Cancun, Mexico.
