After taking four in a row off of Portland, the Lakers have now beaten Houston in both Games 2 and 3 to take a 2-1 series lead over the Rockets. Tuesday's win was driven by the stars. LeBron James carried the Lakers through the first half in scoring 29 points in two quarters, but Rajon Rondo provided a surprising 21 points and nine assists to carry the Lakers to the finish line.  Anthony Davis was also incredible, tallying 26 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists.

James’ final stat line of the night was 36 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. That’s pretty good.Houston forward Robert Covington was taken to the locker room after colliding with Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis in the fourth quarter of Game 3 of the teams’ Western Conference playoff series Tuesday night.Less than five minutes remained in the game when the collision took place.

Danuel House Jr., veteran center Tyson Chandler is also unavailable for the Houston Rockets in Tuesday night’s Game 3 of their second-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers.
