Manila---Former Far Eastern University mainstay International Master Elect Dale Bernardo defeated Joemar Morales and kept a share of the lead after the fourth round of the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP)

try out dubbed as 1st Jake "Talov" Carlos Invitational Chess Tournament on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Palma de Oro, San Fernando, Pampanga.
Bernardo, earlier beat Juan Rojano Jr., Fide Master Antonio Molina and Leonel Caroc in the first three rounds.
The win, however, was enough to keep Bernardo on the top of the leadership board who totes four points in four outings, the same output of Michael Mallari, who brought down Florencio Catubig, National Master Darry Bernardo, Juan Rojano Jr. and Molina, respectively.
According to famous Pampanga chess organizer Jose Camaya, the actual over the board chess tournament is hosted by Pampanga Team Manager Jake "Talov" Carlos, as part of the selection process for the Team Pampanga.
