Manila---Some of the top chess players in Sampaloc, Manila 

 

Excited to face the star chess players of Philippines chess para athletes at the famous España Chess Club in Sampaloc

, Manila on March 21,2020.

The goodwill chess match initially organized by España Chess Club-Manila top honcho engineer Ernie Fetisan Faeldonia in close cooperation with Barangay 456 Zone 45 to forge friendships between España Chess Club and Philippines chess para athletes in terms of chess.

Despite being the underdog, host España Chess Club-Manila will be led by 2018 Singapore Boys 14 and under co-champion Jasper Concepcion Faeldonia of Arellano University and  engineer Ernie Fetisan Faeldonia in the 25 minutes with 3 seconds increment time control format.

Aside from father and son tandem Ernie and Jasper, the España Chess Club-Manila is also composed of Princess Nicole Ballete, Darwene Salangsang and Joseph Ballete.
The visiting Philippines chess para athletes is slightly favored to win this friendly match since they will be headed by ASEAN para games medallist Arman Subaste, Menandro Redor, Felix Aguilera, Francis Ching, Israel Peligro,Cecilio Bilog and Rodolfo Sarmiento as well Cheyzer Mendoza, Cheryl Angot and Anthony Abogado. Head coach is IA James Infiesto.
Meanwhile, the Dagupan Tondo Chess Club spearheaded by Ronwell De Leon, Marlou Guatno, Ruel Nisperos, Rogelio Clemente and Felix Aguilera wil set to face España Chess Club  this weekend.-Marlon Bernardino-
