Woman Fide Master (WFM) Cherry Ann Mejia and Woman National Master (WNM) Francois Marie Magpily will see action in the prestigious first ever Woman Fide Master (WFM) Sheerie Joy Lomibao-Beltran Fide rating tournament rapid chess championship on December 14, 2019, Saturday at the second floor Open Kitchen Airconditioned food fall, Rockwell Business Center, Sheridan, Greenfields District, Mandaluyong City.


Mejia and Magpily, both aiming to win the championships trophy plus the top prize P10,000 and Michael Kors watches sponsored by Woman Fide Master (WFM) Sheerie Joy Lomibao-Beltran in close cooperation with China Aurelio and Mimi Casas of Open Kitchen, are up against the women's best woodpushers including Woman International Master (WIM) Catherine Perena-Secopito, Woman International Master (WIM) Bernadette Galas, Woman Fide Master (WFM) Samantha Glo Revita, Woman National Master (WNM) Christy Lamiel Bernales,  Tara Jade Aurelio-Dableo, Susan Grace Neri and Mary Joy Palero-Segarra.

The other top players are Manilyn Cabungcag, Jocelyn Tuibuen Berago, Mary Grace Telebrico-Litao, Flowery Manguera-Capati, Arlyn Victorio,  Stella Theresa Aquino, Shaira Mae Aquino, Shanaia Marie Aquino, Yvy Shane  Bolaños, Kristine Mae Bolaños, Jermaine Ramayla, Louisse Viray Toralba and Ayesha Janelle Guanzon.

Meanwhile, National Christian Life College (NCLC) head coach Santi Valderama Papagayo will parade his 14 years old and below participants in the likes of Khloe Miles G. Javil, Kean Michael G. Javil, Rolaine, Alexia A. Ison, Kenneth Christian L. Nacor, Jan Michael T. Ellar Jr., Mohammad Hanif M. Dida-Agun, Audree Levi B. Calub, Jacob SM. Padayao, Jairus Kylle B. Siazon, Jordan Perry J. Nagua, Tyron Esquivel and Calvyn Shane C. Martinez.
The champion in the kiddies 14 years old and below category will take home P5,000 plus Samsung Galaxy Tablet, Digital chess clock plus trophy and medal.
