Pasay City - World boxing champion Manny Pacquiao has no injuries and is ready to fight, trainer Freddie Roach, conditioning coach Justin Fortune, and Buboy Fernandez all said.

The People’s Champ is set to face former Olympian Jeff Horn in Brisbane, Australia on July 2.

“Of course, we’re looking for a win. We have a long time for training,” said Roach, who was surprised at Pacquiao’s condition on day 1 of training camp.

Fortune said they are doing some refraction work to maintain strength, exercises for flexibility, leg work and footwork for power in the Pambansang Kamao’s legs.

Training camp continues until the end of May and then the team will stay in General Santos for a couple of weeks then fly to Australia for a week before going back to L.A.

“Jeff Horn will not sit there or run away like Vargas or other guys. He is a little bit dangerous because he is a big guy with a great punch and he is bent on defeating the Champ,” said Fortune.

Fernandez admitted that Pacquiao did feel some pain in his leg last week.

“Last week medyo may kirot, ngayon wala na okay na, wala nang problema. Naka-first phase sparring na tayo last week ng 2 rounds so bukas another 2 rounds na naman. Prepared na lahat para sa sparring partner natin ime-maintain na lang natin siya,” he said.

“Ibabalik natin siya dun sa program na lagi nating ginagamit sa training, yung pag gamit ng gulong,” he added.

Friends of the fighting Senator said  he looks 30 and his speed is super human.
