LOS ANGELES — As one of Hollywood’s most famous celebrities, George Clooney is not afraid to use his platform to speak up on issues close to him, but do not expect the actor to enter the political arena anytime soon.

“I’ve always been around and involved in politics and believe that we all have to participate one way or another. But no, I’m not going to get into it,” Clooney told Reuters.

“I don’t have to answer to any one person. I don’t have to make compromises, I can point the finger at whomever I think needs to be pointed out,” he added.

“Just the Two of Us,” may very well be the theme song of mom-and-daughter Jenine Desiderio and Janella Salvador.

In 2002, when Janella was only three years old, her mother and father, musician Juan Miguel Salvador,  separated. While Jenine never stopped Janella from reaching out to her father, the young actress did not really communicate much with him. She would only text him during special occasions. There was even a six-year period when she did not see him at all.

Flipping through her IG, it’s easy to see why Denise Laurel makes a great fitspiration to other women out there. The actress and celebrity mom looks great and she never seems to run out of energy. One day, she’s working out. Next day, she’s working on her scenes. Then, you’ll see her playing with her son and then, the week after, she’ll be boxing. And she makes sure to always give her 100%. Saw that video of her boxing? She says she’s rusty but we wouldn’t want to jump in the ring with her as she’s definitely not pulling any punches!

“I feel so blessed and very honored to win the first title. This win comes as a surprise and it’s definitely a labor of passion and hard work. Also, I wouldn’t be able to win the competition without the love and support of my kababayan. The crown is really for them,” she said.
