New TV programs amp up summer fun

This summer, GMA turns the heat up a notch as the network debuts its summer campaign showcasing its latest program offerings that aim to keep the viewers’ eyes glued to the screen.

GMA recently launched the plug dubbed “Basta’t Ka-Summer Kita, Kapuso!,” which features the sizzling cast of new Kapuso dramas as their imagination takes them to a vibrant summer destination. The colorful sceneries were shot at the Inflatable Island in Subic, Zambales—the biggest floating playground in Asia.

GMA recently launched the plug dubbed “Basta’t Ka-Summer Kita, Kapuso!,” which features the sizzling cast of new Kapuso dramas as their imagination takes them to a vibrant summer destination. The colorful sceneries were shot at the Inflatable Island in Subic, Zambales—the biggest floating playground in Asia. 

 Leading the list of GMA’s hottest offerings is the recently-launched series Bihag.  A thought-provoking tale of how one mistake can lead to another, Bihag is starred by Max Collins, Mark Herras, Jason Abalos, Neil Ryan Sese, Raphael Landicho, and Sophie Albert. 

Beginning this April, the tandem of seasoned actor Gabby Concepcion and Jennylyn Mercado will bring good vibes to the Kapuso primetime habit as they form a wacky love triangle with Shaira Diaz in Love You Two. Also included in this romantic comedy series is Solenn Heussaff.

Set to launch soon is Dahil sa Pag-ibig, which will pair Benjamin Alves and Sanya Lopez for the first time. Also joining the cast are Pancho Magno and Winwyn Marquez. 

 
Last but definitely not the least is the much-awaited TV debut of Derek Ramsay as the newest addition to the roster of Kapuso stars. Derek will headline The Better Woman alongside Andrea Torres. 

 The upbeat and fun jingle, “Basta’t Ka-Summer Kita, Kapuso!”, was performed by Kyline Alcantara with music and lyrics by Mikoy Morales. 

 Following the plug’s launch on Monday, April 8, netizens quickly shared their excitement about the upcoming Kapuso shows and at the same time applauded how the plug and song were nicely done.
