Courtside charmer Rizza Diaz is first calendar girl for 2019

It’s that time of year again when companies start appraising the crop of female celebrities in the country so as to choose the best face to be their calendar girl for another new beginning.

For 2019, it seems agricultural and construction supplies group Jardine Distribution beat everyone else to the punch as it announced this early they have signed PBA courtside reporter and model Rizza Diaz to grace the company calendar next year.

Diaz, who has been highly visible at PBA games since 2013, launched her sportscasting career in the collegiate level when she was courtside reporter for the National University Bulldogs in the UAAP. She then pursued a career in modeling, gracing the pages of men’s magazine FHM both here in the Philippines and in Singapore.

During her contract signing with JDI officials the 27-year-old Diaz expressed her excitement in working with what she considers a “trusted and credible” company.

“I didn’t have to think twice about signing up with them knowing they’re a consumer-trusted brand,” said Diaz.

Present at the contract signing were Edwin Hernandez, JDI president; AVP for Construction Supplies Peachy Tiu; and AVP for Agro Products Robert Littaua.

“Every year, we collaborate with different talents to give a young and vibrant face to the brand as we usher in another year. We are very happy that Rizza Diaz has agreed to doing this project with us, and we are even more enthusiastic to work with her in the coming year.”
