Teejay, who last starred in the ABS-CBN teleserye Dream Dad, became a big hit in Indonesia after his “Twerk it Like Miley” dubsmash video became viral last year. He was invited to visit Indonesia and was surprised to find out that he was already very famous there.
Newspapers and TV networks featured him, and a producer offered him a movie. Teejay made the Indonesian teen drama “Dubsmash the Movie” with rising Indonesian stars Jessica Mila and Verrel Bramasta.
The young actor and model recently signed with Universal Records and will be flying to Indonesia again this month. After which, he will come home to Manila for surprise upcoming projects.
