Westlife release new single Dynamite co-written by Ed Sheeran and will perform it for the first time at Croke Park tonight

WESTLIFE have revealed they'll perform brand new single Dynamite for the first time tonight at Croke Park.

The pop group, made up of Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily, and Kian Egan - will sing the track, co-written by Ed Sheeran, at the homecoming show in Dublin in front of 80,000 fans.

Mark said: "It is almost eight years since we last played together at Croke Park so we're all excited. It is going to be very special and probably emotional for all of us.

"We're going to give the fans a huge performance and perform our new single for the very first time too. I can't wait."

Dynamite's release follows hit singles Hello My Love and Better Man, both of which were also co-written by Sheeran.

The band said of the track: "Dynamite has got such an enchanting melody that starts off subtly and ends up quite big and euphoric. It’s about how falling in love creates such glow and light in someone’s life that it literally lights up the world around them.

"It’s an upbeat, fresh summer song and you could say it reflects the energy of our comeback.

“This is our third single that has been co-written by Ed Sheeran. It has been amazing to work with him and he really has put his stamp on our upcoming album Spectrum."

The chart-toppers will perform to 160,000 adoring fans tonight and tomorrow as part of their record-breaking Twenty Tour which continues in Asia this summer.

Their first two singles from the forthcoming new album, Hello My Love and Better Man, have amassed over 200 million streams globally.

The tour is the group's fastest selling tour of all time, with 400,000 tickets being snapped up in just 48 hours.

It's been a year to remember for the boys.

Not only has their reunion been a huge success, but Mark got engaged to his boyfriend in February during a romantic trip to the Maldives.

He shared celebratory snaps from the trip on social media featuring idyllic beaches, a ring and bubbly.

While Nicky played in the huge Unicef Soccer Aid match at Stamford Bridge which he warmed up for by practising at Elland Road with his son Rocco.
