George, the mass was sponsored by the Knights Of Columbus Don Bosco Council 10277 headed by the Council Grand Knight Edz Valdez. Fr. George expressed alarm over the threats to democracy, attempts to revise history, and the concept of achieving change by killing people.
“History cannot be changed by anyone,” he said in Filipino. “Democracy cannot be repressed by a leader who thinks change can be achieved by killing people) Fr. George added, “Forgiving without justice is not forgiveness but pretension.”
Zacchaeus, the chief tax collector, admitted to having sinned and asked for forgiveness, he explained.
The people, especially the young, should listen and reflect.
