As of now, 17 locations will be open for four days straight — or 96 hours.
The Russo brothers' Avengers: Endgame continues to set records before it even hits theaters later this week.

AMC Theatres on Monday announced that the superhero pic has racked up more advance ticket sales than any title in history. The mega-circuit is also adding a record number of round-the-clock showings in order to accommodate demand.

From Disney and Marvel Studios, Avengers: Endgame should have no trouble scoring the biggest opening of all time at the global box office with $850 million to $900 million (some think it could even be more). In North America, it's likewise expected to unseat Avengers: Infinity War and post a record debut of $270 million-plus, with some betting on $300 million.

Endgame begins rolling out Wednesday in select territories, including China. It will touch down in the U.S. on Thursday night.

So far, 29 AMC locations will be open around the clock Thursday through Friday, while an additional 18 theaters are scheduled to be open around the clock Thursday through Saturday, or Friday through Sunday. Finally, another 17 AMC sites are scheduled to be open around the clock Thursday night through Sunday.

“With a desire to satisfy as many Marvel fans as possible on Thursday and through the weekend, AMC’s programming team is reviewing ticket sales theater by theater and adding showtimes later and later. In fact, there are multiple AMC locations that will be operating around the clock from Thursday night through Sunday," Elizabeth Frank, AMC executive vp worldwide programming, said Monday in a statement.

Endgame is a climax of sorts to the 21 previous titles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a blockbuster series of films that commenced with the breakout hit Iron Man in 2008 and established Kevin Feige's Marvel Studios as the best in show.

The tentpole is a direct sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, which opened to $257.6 million in late April 2018, marking the biggest North American launch of all time ahead of Disney and Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($248 million). Globally, Infinity War bowed to a record-shattering $640.5 million. That was without China, where it opened two weeks later.

Thor's friend from work is back! Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie debuted in Thor: Ragnarok but was not seen in Avengers: Infinity War. It was later confirmed by the Russo Brothers that she escaped with other surviving Asgardians. Apparently she survived The Decimation, too. She got her own Avengers: Endgame poster, and it was in color like the other lucky 50%.

And now one of the many new Avengers: Endgame TV spots has given us a very quick glimpse of Valkyrie, live and in color. She's actually the first one we see in the promo:

Nice! Looking forward to seeing more of her role in Avengers 4. It was suspected that she would return, especially when she was spotted with Ragnarok (and Men in Black: International) co-star Chris Hemsworth in September 2018, joining him when he flew to Atlanta for Avengers 4 reshoots.

Of course, since we're talking about the Russos and the MCU, we have to leave room for misdirection. It would be cruel to give Valkyrie fans that glimpse of her in the new TV spot and only learn that it was another mislead. But it does sound like she'll be back in some fashion, and Marvel did give her a new Endgame poster. Maybe we'll also see the return of the rest of the Asgardians. Will they join the fight against Thanos?

One of the most exciting things about Avengers: Endgame is the number of new characters working together. Even Avengers: Infinity War didn't cover every base. We have characters like Rhodey and Black Widow going to space for the first time, alongside Guardians Nebula and Rocket Raccoon, as Thor bonds with "new girl" Captain Marvel.

Speaking of Captain Marvel, actresses Brie Larson and Tessa Thompson are good friends off-screen, and they've been loving fans' social media posts pairing Valkyrie and Carol Danvers. So maybe fans can expect to see their characters at least meet on screen? Thompson has brought up the idea of Marvel women getting together to fight folks and hang out in space. Maybe she'll get her wish soon.

Continuing on that note, Marvel Studios also released another Endgame TV spot -- it's almost too much now! -- and this one was heavy on the foreshadowing of endings and goodbyes. It also focused a lot on Black Widow finding a family for the first time with the Avengers. She has her own movie coming up, but will it be after she loses her Avenger "family"?

Avengers: Endgame isn't quite the end of MCU Phase 3, as we initially thought, but it does seem to mark the endgames for some original stars and their characters. Chris Hemsworth may be on that boat, although he has said he'd be happy to return as Thor whenever they need him. If Valkyrie is in Endgame, she'd probably connect with Thor at some point. If the rest of the Asgardians return as well, will Thor want to leave to help start a new life with them, after they do whatever they do with Thanos? I have been avoiding any spoilers, so all speculation is valid to me.

Avengers: Endgame opens in theaters this Friday, April 26, as one of the many movies playing on the big screen through 2019.

The legendary half-demon superhero is back this April, but not as a continuation to the 2004 and 2008 fantasy-heavy Hellboy films by visionary writer/director Guillermo del Toro. Instead, this movie reboot has a darker tone, much more grounded in horror (Rated R in America), and is composed of a new cast and a new creative team that includes Mike Mignola, the creator of the Hellboy comic books, acting as a co-executive producer.

Not even Mark Ruffalo knows the ending to "Avengers: Endgame."

"I shot like five different endings for this movie," Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner and the Hulk, told E! News alongside "Endgame" co-stars Chris Evans and Karen Gillan. "I didn't even get a whole script to this movie."

"The script I did get had dummy scenes in it," said Ruffalo of the version of the script he received. For what it's worth, it wasn't just Ruffalo. Gillan, who plays Nebula, said a lot of the cast didn't get the full script.

According to Ruffalo, one of those fake endings included Captain America's Steve Rogers getting married.

"He gets married in this!" said Ruffalo excitedly as he pointed to Evans.

"Mark's a real liability," said Evans. "They have to throw Mark off the scent."

"You have earned no trust in the Marvel universe. You leak like a bodily function," Evans explained as Ruffalo looked at his "Avengers" co-star shocked.

Ruffalo shouldn't have been too shocked by the news. He's been known to say a bit too much about the Marvel movies. After the release of last year's "Infinity War," fans realized Ruffalo gave away the end of that film back in 2017 at Disney's D23 Expo.

Then there was that time Ruffalo accidentally live-streamed the sound of the first 20 minutes of "Thor: Ragnarok" on his Instagram from the premiere.

Don Cheadle told Jimmy Fallon in January he tries to avoid getting paired during interviews with Ruffalo because "he runs his mouth a lot."

In an interview on NBC's "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" in March, Ruffalo said he hoped to deflect some of the urge to spoil "Endgame" when he asked Marvel to be paired with Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man. Holland himself accidentally spoiled the end of "Infinity War" for a group of theatergoers.

Ruffalo's request was swiftly denied. Instead, Ruffalo said he was paired with "tight-lipped" Captain America over loose-lipped Holland.

If the E! interview is any indication, Marvel made the right choice. Evans swiftly maneuvered the conversation with E! News away from "Avengers" spoiler territory.

You can watch Ruffalo, Evans, and Gillan discuss "Avengers: Endgame" below. "Endgame" is in theaters Friday, April 26.

Fans are finally getting another look at The Lion King!

Exactly 100 days ahead of the remake's theatrical release -- and following some footage being shown at CinemaCon earlier this month -- Disney dropped a new, full-length trailer, giving fans their best look yet at Simba, Mufasa and the rest of the gang.

The latest Avengers: Endgame Special Look trailer is full of tantalizing new secrets, but one thing that stuck out is how much it featured Tony Stark. Whereas the first trailer made it seem like he might not even make it back to Earth, this one shows he not only survives but reunites with Pepper Potts, makes up with Captain America, and built a new suit of Iron Man armor.
