Friday Night SmackDown moments

Philadelphia won’t be getting Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, but plenty of star wrestlers are expected to cram into the Wells Fargo Center Friday night for WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown.

The show is scheduled to feature a response from Daniel Bryan, who was jumped by Universal Champion ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt last week. There’s also another match-up between King Corbin and Roman Reigns, who is looking for payback after having been jumped earlier this week on FS1′s WWE Backstage.

It’s the first time SmackDown has been held in Philadelphia since the show made its debut on Fox last month to 3.9 million viewers, boosted by appearances by the aforementioned Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan. Since then, the ratings have dropped, with last week’s tape-delayed Manchester, England, episode drawing 2.61 million viewers.

The Rock's recent WWE return on the series premiere of WWE Friday Night SmackDown On FOX is featured in a new "WWE Day Of" documentary special.

On their official YouTube channel, WWE released a new "WWE Day Of" documentary special chronicling The Rock's return for the WWE Friday Night SmackDown On FOX premiere.

Also featured are Brock Lesnar, Kofi Kingston and others.
