Broadway star and the Voice of the Philippines coach Lea Salonga participated in the annual Go Red For Women red dress fashion show 2018 in New York on Thursday, February 8.

She's in New York as part of the Broadway revival of "Once On This Island." Dressed in a red gown, Salonga traded on Thursday the stage for the runway, as she lent her voice for a charity fashion show that aims to raise awareness on heart disease and stroke in women.

The Filipino Broadway star opened the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection 2018" show with a performance of OneRepublic's "I Lived."

She was one of the personalities to grace the event, hosted by Oscar-winning actor Marisa Tomei. Actress Kate Walsh, music group En Vogue and Melissa Joan Hart also attended.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach walked at the catwalk in the same event in 2016, where she was dressed up by designer Carmen Marc Valvo.
