Tomorrow at the Shangri-La Plaza East Atrium, Richard Poon takes center stage to share his soothing voice and unique style of music with the visitors of the mall.

Richard Poon has won over crowds by giving the “standards” or classic hits by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, and more, a fresher and younger twist with his cool and distinct voice. He has brought his masterful reinterpretation of timeless songs in concert tours all over the world, and has shared the stage with none other than the music industry’s biggest names including Regine Velasquez and Lea Salonga. Not only is he a soulful crooner, but Poon is also an acclaimed songwriter, arranger, and music producer who won the 2009 Awit Awards Best Jazz Recording for his original song “Momma Said So” which he wrote for British-Filipino artist, Charlie Green.

Now, he brings his music over to Shangri-La Plaza to serenade mall guests, and give you a taste of his most popular compositions and arrangements.

You can always count on Shangri-La Plaza to bring you the best performances and artists to fill the mall with world-class entertainment.
