He also shared a shot from their movie Camp Rock, and teased Lovato in the caption, writing, "I know you won't ever let me live it down that you're a month older than me."

Other stars like Kelly Clarkson and Ellen Degeneres shared their birthday wishes, along with Demi's mom, Dianna De La Garza, who shared a beautiful shot of her daughter all smiles at an event.

ET caught up with the singer last week, who revealed her unexpected birthday plans for next weekend in Las Vegas.

“I am going to the Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather fight,” she said. “I'll go with friends… yeah, that's what I think about when I think about my 25th birthday. I don't even have a party planned. I'm just thinking about the fight.”

The singer also has cause to celebrate, with a new album, tour and documentary on the horizon. The doc will take viewers on her journey to making the highly anticipated new music.

"I want people and viewers to see my journey," she explained. "I want them to learn about my life today rather than thinking about my life in the past. A lot of people have heard my story, I've been very open about it, but a lot of people don't know what my life is like today and I get to share that with my fans, which is so important to me."
